About Me
From early on, I have been drawn to the sacredness of life’s thresholds, especially the final one. I believe that how we care for someone at the end of life is one of the clearest reflections of our own relationship with death.
The quote by Ram Dass, "We are all just walking each other home," lives at the heart of this work. His teachings, and the stillness they invite, helped shape my vision for Peaceful Passage. I believe death is not something to be feared or handed off to others. It is something to be held, honored, and moved through with care.
My background is in healthcare, with over seven years of experience in clinical care, functional medicine, hospice, and patient advocacy. In hospice, I started to see what was missing. Families were offered incredible clinical and emotional support, but they were often left to navigate the logistics and rituals on their own. There were gaps where beauty and meaning could have been. The memorials felt rushed. The choices felt limited. The experience felt like it belonged to the system, not the family.
I created Peaceful Passage as a response to that. My work is about bringing death back to people, removing the fear and taboo, and helping families shape these moments in ways that feel personal and grounded. I serve as a personal assistant during this transition, offering steady, practical, and emotional support throughout the process. From organizing final wishes and working alongside hospice, to planning heartfelt memorials and celebrations of life, I am here to help families create something that feels true.
This is not about filling a checklist. It is about choosing how we say goodbye, and allowing that choice to reflect the love we carry.
Outside of this work, I share life with my magical partner (he’s a magician), spend slow mornings with my soul-kitty Meow, and find joy in thunderstorms, history, and quiet moments. I believe in curiosity, presence, and creating beauty even in loss.
If you are looking for a different kind of goodbye, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
